1. Data controller

The controller of personal data processed in connection with the use of the Pogodynka.eu Website is the Operator of the Website.

For matters concerning personal data, you may contact the Operator via the contact form or the e-mail address provided on the Website.

2. Scope of processed data

The Website limits data collection to the necessary minimum.

• Technical visit data: a shortened (anonymised) IP address, date and time, request path, response code and browser information (User-Agent).
• Data voluntarily provided in the contact form (e.g. name, e-mail address, message content) — if the form is active.

The Website does not build marketing profiles and does not sell personal data.

3. IP address anonymisation

In the Website’s statistics the user’s IP address is masked — the last segment of the address is replaced with “xxx” (e.g. 192.168.0.xxx), so that a specific device cannot be identified.

A full IP address may be stored only within a limited technical and security scope (e.g. detecting bots or scanners), in line with the data-minimisation principle.

IP masking is intended to protect the privacy of users of the public part of the Website.

4. Purposes and legal bases

Data is processed for the following purposes:

• keeping anonymous statistics and ensuring the security of the Website — based on the controller’s legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR);
• handling correspondence sent via the contact form — based on consent or steps taken at the data subject’s request (Art. 6(1)(a) or (b) GDPR).

5. Retention period

Anonymised statistical data is stored for the period necessary to analyse traffic and maintain security.

Contact-form messages are stored for as long as needed to respond and handle the matter.

6. User rights

The data subject has the rights provided under the GDPR:

• access to the data and a copy thereof,
• rectification, erasure or restriction of processing,
• objection to processing and data portability,
• lodging a complaint with the competent data protection authority.

7. Processors and recipients

Data may be processed by the hosting provider and, if implemented, by analytics and weather-data providers — solely within the scope of the service provided.

The Operator selects processors that ensure an appropriate level of data protection.
